This morning, near the beginning of my early morning walk, I came across this hopscotch game traced out in chalk on a sidewalk outside a home. The "Feel free" written on the bottom of it made me smile as I walked over it. Then I spent the rest of the walk thinking about that simple message - the invitation to take a moment to let go and just feel free. To take pleasure in a little bit of fun and be childlike. How often do we do that? How awesome is it when we do?
So I did my walk, and was almost back to my house, when I decided to go back over to take a picture of this little bit of joy. And you can bet that this time I didn't walk over it - I hopped all the way up.
